Day 1 – Acropolis and Museum

  • Acropolis and Parthenon
  • Acropolis Museum
Morning Acropolis (open 8 am; go early). Parthenon, Erechtheion, Temple of Athena Nike. Afternoon Acropolis Museum. Evening Plaka for dinner.
Tips:

Buy combined ticket for Acropolis and other sites. Wear good shoes; marble is slippery.

Day 2 – Agora and Plaka

  • Ancient Agora
  • Plaka and Anafiotika
Morning Ancient Agora and Temple of Hephaestus. Afternoon Plaka and Anafiotika (narrow streets). Optional: Mount Lycabettus for sunset. Evening taverna in Psiri or Plaka.
Tips:

Agora is included in combined ticket. Lycabettus: funicular or walk.

Day 3 – Temple of Zeus and departure

  • Temple of Olympian Zeus
  • National Museum or last stroll
Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. Optional National Archaeological Museum. Transfer to airport or port for islands.
Tips:

ATH airport: metro or taxi 45–60 min from centre. Ferries from Piraeus.
