Day 1 – Schönbrunn and Naschmarkt
- Schönbrunn Palace and gardens
- Naschmarkt
Morning at Schönbrunn (book Grand Tour). Afternoon gardens or zoo. Evening Naschmarkt for food. Coffee house stop.
Tips:
Book Schönbrunn online. Allow half a day. Coffee house: try Sachertorte or Apfelstrudel.
Day 2 – Hofburg and city centre
- Hofburg and Sisi Museum
- St Stephen's and Graben
Morning Hofburg (Sisi Museum, Imperial Apartments). St Stephen's Cathedral and climb tower. Afternoon Graben and Kärntner Strasse. Evening concert or opera.
Tips:
Hofburg: book combined ticket. Concerts: many venues; book ahead in season.
Day 3 – Belvedere or Prater and departure
- Belvedere (Klimt) or Prater
- Last coffee and transfer
Belvedere for Klimt's The Kiss, or Prater for the wheel. Last coffee house. Transfer to airport.
Tips:
VIE airport: 20–25 min by train (CAT or S-Bahn) from centre.
